Job Description

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day processes in the powder manufacturing area including but not limited to training, scheduling, and process trouble shooting.
• Develop, document, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes
• Create and maintain process work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Ensure documentation and traceability in compliance with AS9100 standards
• Support the battery design process to ensure new designs are manufacturable from a powder perspective
• Manage the day-to-day operation of the powder laboratory
• Interface with the ASB group experts worldwide for powders and help develop new processes.
• Train manufacturing personnel on new processes and equipment
• Troubleshoot, solve process and equipment issues then communicate with operators the outcome
• Support failure investigations to determine root cause and implement corrective actions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline
• Detail oriented with an analytical and structured approach to problem solving
• Experienced and knowledgeable with automated assembly equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Self-motivated with strong desire for process improvement
• Need to be able to be comfortable to wear a mask when in powder are and able to lift 30 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $78,000.00 – $83,000.00 per year
